SPINACH & CHEESE CALZONES

    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 T. garlic powder
    1/2t. salt
    1 10oz pk frozen choped spinach
    thawed and well drained
    1/2 (6oz) pk Canadian bacon, chopped
    1t. dried Italian seasoning
    1 15oz fat-free ricotta cheese
    1c. 4oz shredded reduced-fat mozarella cheese
    1/4 c. freshly grated parmesan cheese
    1 16oz loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
    vegetable cooking spray
    1 27oz light pasta sauce, heated


    Combine first 5 ingredients in large skillet; cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until bacon is browned. Remove from heat.
    Combine Italian seasoning and next 3 ingredients; sir into spinach mixture.
    Divide dough into 8 portions; roll each portion into a 6 inch circle on lightly floured surface.
    Spoon 1/2c. spinach mixture on each circle; lightly brush edges of dough w/water. Fold in hald, pressing edges to seal. Place calzones on a baking sheeting coated w/cooking spray; coat tops w/cooking spra.
    Bake 375 degrees 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve w/warm pasta sauce.
