Delicious Eggless Cake

    Ingredients

    For Cake:
    2 cups flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 20 oz. can of crushed pineapple, not drained
    1 cup chopped nuts (I use Pecans.)

    For Topping:
    3/4 cup sugar
    6 oz. of evaporated milk
    1/2 cup butter




    Preparation

    Mix flour, sugar, and baking soda in bowl.
    In separate bowl mix pineapple (juice also) and vanilla.
    Stir pineapple into dry ingredients. Mix well.
    Pour into un-greased 9 x 12 cake pan. Sprinkle nuts on top.
    Bake 350 F degree oven for 30 minutes or until done.

    Before cake is finished, mix the topping together in a sauce pan.
    Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes.
    Pour hot topping over hot cake.
    Cool.
