Chocolate Zucchini Cake

1/2 cup soft margarine
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup sour milk (see below)
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
4 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 cups diced zucchini (I grate mine)
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 cup nuts (optional)
Cream margarine, oil and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla, sour milk, and
beat. To make sour milk, add 1 tsp lemon juice to 1/2 cup whole or
skim milk. Let stand 5 minutes before using.
Mix all the dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in
Spoon batter into greased and floured 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan. Sprinkle
top with chocolate chips. Bake at 325* for 4-45 minutes. This really
needs no frosting as it is moist and very tender.
