Venison Barley Soup

    2 lbs. ground venison 1 lg. onion diced, 3 carrots sliced 3 celery stalks sliced 4 good sized potatoes diced 2 lg. cans of beef consomme 3 cups water 3 boiullion cubes 1 cup barley 1 tbls. garlic 1/8 tsp marjoram 1 tsp. ea. of oregano, basil, salt and pepper. 2 cups chunky tomato sauce. Saute` onions in 2 tbls. olive oil, add venison cook through, add connsomme, water, and bouillon, add carrots, celery, potatoes, bring to a rolling boil, 15-20 mins. add seasonings, and tomato sauce simmer 15 mins. add barley cook till soft and soup thickens.
