Breaded Mustard Pork Chops

MyCookbook Recipe Database

Recipe Category: Restricted Diets
Recipe Preparation Level: easy
This is a low cholesterol recipe!

    1 egg white
    2T Dijon mustard
1/3C seasoned breadcrumbs (I use generic herbed dry stuffing, crushed)
    1 lb. pork chops
    1/4t garlic powder
    1/4t sage

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Spray a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick spray. In a small bowl, beat egg white until frothy. Stir in mustard until well mixed. In a shallow dish, combine the breadcrumbs, garlic and sage. Dip chops in egg; coat with breadcrumbs. Place in pan and spray with cooking spray (flavored makes them better). Bake 20-25 minutes or until chops are no longer pink in the middle.
