Cherry Wine Sauce for Ham

    Juice of 2 oranges
    1/2 teaspoon grated orange rind
    Juice of 1 lemon
    1/2 teaspoon grated lemon rind
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    1/4 teaspoon powdered cloves
    1/2 cup currant jelly
    2 tablespoons butter
    2 cups canned Bing cherries, pitted and drained
    1/3 cup Marsala
    1/3 cup sherry

    Grate needed amount of rind from orange and lemon and reserve. Squeeze orange and lemon juice, add cornstarch, cloves and currant jelly. Heat in double boiler or heavy pan until jelly melts. Add butter, cherries and the reserved rind. Just before serving, add Marsala and sherry. Serve hot over slices of baked ham.
