David's Beef Stroganoff

    1 1/2 pounds beef tenderloin,sliced in 1 1/2 inch strips
    1/2 cup scallions, chopped
    1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped (I use a whole cup)
    3 tablespoons butter
    Salt and pepper to taste
    1 1/2 cups brown gravy
    1/4 cup sour cream
    1/4 cup Burgundy wine
    2 cups hot noodles

    Saute beef, onions, mushrooms, in skillet with butter until meat is a light brown. Add salt and pepper. Stir in gravy and sour cream, and stir frequently, cooking over low fire for 5 minutes. Add wine to suit individual taste. Serve over noodles in a casserole.
