Hot Buttered Rum

1 stick Buter, softened
6 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
1/4 c molasses or dark corn syrup
With the back of a spoon, mash together butter, brown sugar and molasses in a small bowl until thoroughly mixed. Place 1 1/2 or 2 rounded teaspoons of mixture (or to taste) in a mug. Add 1 ounce of rum. Fill with boiling water, stirring until butter mixture has melted. Top with whipped cream. Servings vary depending on amount of mixture used for each cup.
