8 cups of water ( Use one cup of the water and soften 4 tablespoons of
yeast or 4 packs.
1 cup melted shorten
1/2 cup sugar
4 teaspoons salt
add melted shorten,sugar,salt to water and stir briskly , have 5# of flour
ready to pour into water. add have of it then add yeast water and mix add
rest of flour ,you will need about 3 more cups of flour. kneed then let rise
until double then kneed and shape into about 6 loaves . let rise again bake at 375 for
about 45 to 1 hour.
