Wintertime Steak Soup

    1 lb boneless Sirloin, 1-inch thick
    2 can beef broth
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    1 cup brussels sprouts, cut in half
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    2 carrots, sliced
    1 lg sweet potato, cubed
    1 clove garlic, chopped
    1 tsp marjoram leaves, chopped
    1 tsp thyme leaves, chopped

    Trim fat off beef. Cut into 1-inch cubes. Cook in 3qt pan over medium high heat about 10 minutes until brown. Add broth and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer until beef is tender. Add remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling, lower heat. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 4 servings.
