Turkey Breast in Red Wine Glaze

1 turkey breast cut in half
1/2 cup butter
4 cloves minced garlic
2 bay leaves
1 tsp rosemary
3 cups red wine
1 cup chicken broth
salt and pepper
1 pound mushrooms
In heavy pot roast pan saute turkey in butter on both sides until browned. Add garlic and herbs and continue cooking a minute or 2. Add liquids and salt and pepper. Cover pan and simmer for about an hour until meat is tender. Remove turkey to serving platter and keep warm. Over high heat reduce liquids in pan by 1/2; taste for salt and pepper. Add mushrooms and cook until tender. Slice turkey and pour sauce over and serve.
