Spaetzle

    Galushka:
    500g flour (4.5 cups)
    2 eggs
    1dl milk (1/2- cup)
    2 tbsp oil or lard
    2 tbsp oil or lard
    salt
    water

    Mix well:
    eggs, 1 part oil, milk
    add flour, and enough water to make a not too thick but not tooo thin
    dough
    Don't let it stand for a long time before cooking or mix too much
    bacause dough will be hard.

    Boil salty water in large pot.
    Use spatzle maker to drop dough in boiling water.
    If you don't have spatzle or galushka maker you might be able to use a
    cheese grater but it will be very messy.

    Dumplings are done when they come to the surface.
    Fish them out. Put on hot oil.
    Serve while still warm.
