Savoury Mushrooms

    500g small mushroom cups
    1/2 cup grated mozzarella chese
    1/2 cup grated tasty cheese
    1/4 cup grated parmesan chese
    2 rashers rindless bacon, finely chopped
    2 shallots (spring onions) finely chopped
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
    90g (3oz) butter or marg, melted

    1. Remove stalks from mushrooms, chop stalks finely. Combine with cheeses, bacon, shallots, garlic and seasonings to bowl.
    2. Spoon a generous amount of filling into each mushroom. Place on baking tray.
    3. Top each mushroom with a little of the combined breadcrumbs and butter. Bake in a moderate oven (180C/350F)for 10-15mins. Serve hot.
    Makes about 40.
