Prime Rib Perfection

MyCookbook Recipe Database
MyCookbook Member: powersnwyo
Recipe Category: Beef
Recipe Preparation Level: easy
    1 Standing Rib Roast
(it doesn't matter what size, ask your butcher to give you the size roast you need for the number of guests you are serving)

Place roast in roasting pan, season well with S & P, garlic, any seasoning you might like on it.

Preheat oven to 375. Put roast in oven at 3p.m. and cook for 1 hour. TURN OVEN OFF

DO NOT OPEN DOOR FOR ANY REASON!

45 minutes before serving, turn the oven to 300.

That's it! In 45 minutes it will be perfect. This is a recipe from the Colorado Junior League and is used by everyone. It is nice to serve with horsradish sauce, or a blue cheese sauce.

    Bon Appetite!
