4 to 6 servings (about 3 1/2 quarts)
1/4 lb. bacon, diced 1/2 lb. Gruyere or
2 medium onions, thinly chedder cheese, thinly
4 medium pototoes, thinly salt & pepper
Line Crock-Pot with aluminum foil, leaving enough to overlap potaotes when finished. Layer half each of the bacon, onions, potatoes and cheese in Crock-Pot. Season to taste and dot with butter. Repeate layers of bacon, onions, potatoes and cheese. Dot with butter. Overlap with remaining foil. Cover and cook on Low setting for 10 - 12 hours, or Hight setting for 3 - 4 hours.
