    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1/4 c. hot milk
    3 1/4 c. powdered sugar

    Melt butter; add brown sugar; bring to boiling. Cook and stir 1 minute or till slightly thick. Cool 15 minutes.

    Add hot milk and beat till smooth. Beat in powdered sugar, a little at a time till of spreading consistency.

    This is really good on apple or spice cakes!
