1 lb. extra lean ground beef or ground turkey
1/4 cup egg substitute (equal to 1 egg)
1/2 Tbl. dried parsley
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. chopped garlic
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/4 tsp. ground pepper
1 tsp. dried onion
Mix all ingredients. Shape into 6 patties. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes.
NOTE: This recipe is particularly good when made with ground turkey breast. Also, the mixture is very sloppy, especially when using ground turkey breast. For easy clean-up, line baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray. Drop the mixture by spoonfuls onto baking sheet, using spoon to form patties.
