Liptons Warm Mushroom n' Bacon Dip

Ingredients:
6 slices bacon
1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
2 medium cloves garlic, finely chopped 1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Golden Onion Soup Mix
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1/2 pint (8 oz.) sour cream
Assorted sliced breads or crackers
Directions:
In 10-inch skillet, cook bacon; remove and crumble. Reserve 1-1/2 Tbsp. drippings. Add mushrooms and garlic to reserved drippings and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, 5 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and liquid is almost evaporated. Add golden onion soup mix and pepper, then cream cheese; combine thoroughly. Simmer, stirring constantly, until cream cheese is melted. Stir in sour cream and bacon; heat through.
Garnish, if desired, with parsley and additional mushrooms and bacon. Serve with breads.
