    Linda's Brownie Bottom Cheesecake

    Brownie Bottom:
    1 stick butter
    1 c. sugar
    4 squares bakers unsweetened chocolate
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c flour
    1/2 tsp. salt

Melt butter and chocolate in a heavy pan over low heat, stirring constantly, cool.

Add sugar and eggs, one at a time and mix until blended after each addition.

    Blend in milk and vanilla.

Stir in combines flour and salt, mixing until just blended.

Spoon into a greased and floured 9x3" spring form pan, spreading evenly.

    Bake 25 min. at 350.

This is a simple recipe for cheese cake. It will mix up easier if you let your cream cheese soften a bit before you begin to mix it.(I put mine in the microwave for 40 seconds)

3 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    3/4 C. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 eggs
    1/2 C. sour cream

Beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla at med. speed with an electric mixer until well blended.

Add eggs, one at a time, mixing at low speed after each addition until well blended. Blend in sour cream, and pour over brownie bottom.

Bake 55-60 mins. or until center is almost set.

Cool before removing from rim of pan. Refrigerate 4 hrs. or overnight. Let stand 30 mins. at room temperature before serving.
