1 Can Italian Tomato Soup
½ Soup can water
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
¼ Cup Milk
2 Cups Mozzarella, Shredded, Divided
6 Lasagna Noodles, Uncooked
Brown and drain Hamburger, return to skillet. Add Italian Tomato Soup and ½ soup can of water to meat. Heat thoroughly.
In medium bowl, mix together Mushroom Soup, Milk, and ½ Cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
Spray an 8 x 8 or similar baking dish with nonstick spray.
Layer ingredients in dish as follows:
½ of meat mixture
3 uncooked lasagna noodles
all of cheese/milk/mushroom soup mixture
remaining uncooked lasagna noodles
remaining meat mixture
Cover with aluminum foil and bake @ 400% for 45 minutes. Uncover, top with remaining mozzarella cheese, (1 ½ cups). Bake until cheese is melted, about 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and let set for 5 minutes before cutting/serving.
I got this recipe from a Campbell's Soup Recipe booklet and it is great.
To make this lower fat, use 90-10 hamburger, reduced fat mozzarella cheese, and skim or 2% milk. I don't recomment using Fat free cheese. It does not melt well. A 350% oven, lower temps, melt reduced fat cheeses better.
