Hot Beef Sandwiches w/gravy

    3-4 lb beef roast; I use a boneless chuck roast. 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix, mixed with 1 can undiluted mushroom soup. Pour soup mixture over meat and cook on low until tender (6-8 hours). Meat will be very tender to slice or shred. Skim fat off gravy and add sliced or shredded meat to pot. Serve over hamburger buns or rolls.
