Hershey's Cocoa Frosting

    Hershey's Cocoa:
    Yield: 2 c
    Hershey's cocoa:
    1/4 c for light flavor or 1/2 c for Medium flavor or 3/4 c for Dark flavor 2-2/3 c Confectioners' sugar 6 tbs Butter or margarine 4-5 tbs Milk or water
    1 tsp Vanilla

    Yield: 1 c
    2 tbs for light flavor
    1/4 c for medium flavor
    1/3 c for dark flavor
    1 c confectioners sugar
    3 tbs butter or margarine
    2 tbs milk or water
    1/2 tsp vanilla

    Choose amount of cocoa you prefer and combine with confectioners' sugar. Cream butter with 1/2 cup of cocoa mixture in a small bowl. Add remaining cocoa mixture alternately with milk, beating to spreading consistency. Blend in vanilla. For a glossier frosting, add 1 Tbs corn syrup.
    One cup frosts an 8- or 9-inch square or round cake or pan of brownies or top of a 13x9x2-inch cake or pan of brownies. Two cups fills and frosts an 8- or 9-inch two-layer cake or frosts 30 cupcakes.
