Governor's Mansion Summer Garden Soup

6 cups chicken stock
1" to 3" sprig fresh rosemary
2" to 3" sprig fresh thyme
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 cup red pepper, diced
1 1/2 cups green beans, cut diagonally
1 cup corn, cut off cob
2/3 cup green onion, chopped, including tops
1 cup yellow squash, sliced 1/8" thick
1 cup zucchini squash, sliced 1/8" thick
2 cups poached chichen breast, diced in 1/2" pieces
salt to taste
To simmering stock, add the herbs and red pepper. Simmer 10 minutes. Add beans, corn, and onions. Simmer 10 minutes, until beans are just tender. Add squash and chicken. Remove from heat and add salt to taste. Serves 4-6.
