Chinese Chicken Wings

    This marinade will work for about 15 wings....you can double it if you have more.

    King Chin's Chicken Wings

    1/4 cup soy sauce
    1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger root
    1 tablespoon ketchup
    1 tablespoon honey
    5 or 6 "smashed" garlic cloves
    (squash them on a cutting board with
    the blade of a chef's knife)
    1 oz. cooking sherry

    Sprinkle rinsed chicken wings with salt. Marinate in this sauce in a glass or enamel dish at least one hour....overnight is even better.

    Preheat oven to 400. Roast 1/2 hour, turning once after 15 min.

    You can grill them too.

    You can also use this marinade for pork or beef, but I always do wings. They are great. King Chin is the name of the Chinese lady who shared this recipe with me :
