Chicken Chow Mein

    8 oz spaghetti or angel pasta
    2 tsp oriental sesame oil
    3 Tbsp fat-free chicken broth
    3 Tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
    1 tsp cornstarch
    1/8 tsp ground black pepper
    1 clove garlic,minced
    8 oz skinless,boneless chicken breast,cut in strips
    2 c finely shredded cabbage
    2 medium carrots,coarsely shredded
    1 c sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/2 c chopped onions
    1/2 c canned bamboo shoots,thinly sliced
    1/3 c chopped fresh chives

    Cook pasta. Drain,rinse with cold water and drain again. Transfer pasta to medium bowl. Add the sesame
    oil and toss until coated. In small bowl,stir together broth,soy sauce,cornstarch and pepper. Set
    aside. Lightly spray an unheated wok or large skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium-high heat. Add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds. Add the chicken and stir-fry about 3 minutes or until no longer pink. Remove from skillet and cover to keep warm. Add cabbage,carrots,
    mushrooms,onions,bamboo shoots and chives to skillet. Stir-fry for 2 minutes. Remove from skillet
    and set aside. Then add pasta to skillet and stir
    fry for 3 minutes. Add broth mixture,vegetables and chicken to pasta. Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
