Cherry Pudding

    A. Dough
    1 Cup Sugar
    1 Stick Butter
    2 Cup Flour
    1 Cup Milk
    3 tsp. Baking Powder
    Cream sugar and butter. Stir in flour with baking powder mixed in and milk. This makes steff dough. Put into oiled 9 x 14 pyrex dish and pour sauce over.

    B. Sauce - Drain 1 Can red sour cherries and mix liquid from can with water to make 2 cups. Add
    1 Cup Sugar, bring to boil in saucepan, add cherries, pinch nutmeg, a bit of rum. Pour while still very hot over dough after it is placed in baking pan. Bake 350 for 30/40 min.
